Christmas on 5th Street

Every year it is a Baylor tradition to welcome in the Christmas season with the reading of the Christmas story and subsequent lighting of the campus Christmas tree. I have now gone for all three of my years here :D It is great! It is put on by a fraternity (KOT) and there are so many cool things. There is a live nativity, a petting zoo,
a photo-op spot

hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies
of course the tree

and also a band or two. This year the entertainment was Chris Rice followed by Clay Walker. It was a pleasant evening that I was glad to be able to spend with my community group (aka my Bible study group).

After we were done listening to the music we decided to head to the SUB to see if anything cool was going on, but we got a little side tracked, um, playing on the Immortal Ten Statue...we're such good girls aren't we?
